Welcome to Waterside Cottage on the Shores of Lake Macquarie & Central Coast!

This freshly renovated cottage style home has an easy-flow appeal, this is a home built in a perfect location. Situated on a waterfront reserve with a pathway all along the waters edge.
Feel relaxed the moment you step through the front door to this beautiful Hampton styled & furnished home. Exposed beam ceiling compliments this house with brand new flooring & carpet. The heart of your stay will surely be spent out on the water whether that is fishing, swimming, boating or having a picnic by the water or to simply sit on the back deck with a glass of wine to relax and take in the view.

This home is perfect for a group of couples, 1-2 small families or one extended family. It features five spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, lounge room, separate dining area, laundry with a separate toilet & a covered outdoor area.

This home has Wi-Fi, Smart TV that you can connect Netflix, games & books to keep to kids occupied, BBQ, washing machine & dryer, Nespresso Mini Essenza coffee machine, plus a fully equipped kitchen with everything you could need for an extended stay.
In the living area there is a split system air-conditioner, to help keep the room cool.

2 x kayaks have been provided to help you enjoy the lake. Please take note, all equipment is used by guests at your own risk and no liability is taken for personal injury resulting in use of the provided equipment. Any damages to the equipment caused by guests will be charged to you. Life jackets and paddles are also provided.

PLEASE NOTE; the back of this property has direct access to the lake, please ensure children and guests are supervised at all times as there is no fence along the waters edge. The Property Market & property owner takes no responsibility for any personal injury that may be incurred whilst staying at the property.

Shops are a short drive as are restaurants and clubs. Beautiful beaches and national parks are within 10 minutes.

We have a strict no party or events policy. It is in a quiet neighbourhood, so any type of events such as hens/bucks/schoolies/end of season sporting groups/birthday party celebration are not allowed. If you are unsure if your group falls into any of these categories please enquire before booking. We can easily determine if the house rule of “No parties or events” is disrespected, and this means additional charges, bond forfeited and/or eviction will apply.

    Family vacation was great. House had enough rooms and spacious enough for 8 people. The outside veranda was absolutely beautiful. So serene, loved having breakfast outside and dinner with the sunset. It’s right on the water, so kids rode on their scooters everyday and there’s a lovely walk in front of the house when it’s not so hot.

    A few things to consider:
    •The house has no air conditioning. It was beyond hot inside during the summer heat. We asked for a portable aircon. The owners were so nice and came and dropped off the portable aircon which attaches to the window. But the rest of the house was still hot.
    •The place also had a sewerage smell.
    •The place also needs pest control as we so many cockroaches inside the house.

    If pest control was done and air conditioning was put in, I would 100% come back here.

With the position of this property there is generally a lovely cool breeze that flows through the house to keep it at a comfortable temperature. We understand that during your stay the weather was a very hot weekend and we tried to assist with this, by providing the portable aircon when requested, we have been in the middle of sourcing quotes for air-conditioning recently and hope to have one installed in the very near future. It is unfortunately very common to have a increase of cockroaches with high humidity heat which is what we have been experiencing lately, however the house has recently been pest sprayed which may have being the reason there was a few dead cockroaches at the time. Your insights are valuable, and we have/ will address the issues you mentioned to improve the overall guest experience. If you choose to stay with us again, we would love the opportunity to exceed your expectations. Thanks!
