Welcome to Lake Macquarie Escape - Summerland Point is the perfect setting to spend a few days or weeks simply relaxing, skiing, swimming, paddling, boating and fishing.

This cottage style home is well equipped for a small family getaway or couples.

This two-bedroom cottage has 1 Queen bed, and two king singles beds accommodating up to 4 people in total. The bed linen and towels are of high quality. Spacious living room, with a large smart TV and free Wi-fi. Kitchen is fully equipped for a short or long getaway with appliances, crockery, cutlery and pantry items!

It is only a short 10 minute walk down to Summerland Point Reserve & Boat Harbour, you will also find a cafe/bakery, restaurant, food works, bottle shop and a few other shops.

Modern bathroom also provided with bath towels and also have a limited supply of hand soap and toilet paper. You will also find a separate toilet and also a laundry with facilities to use such as a washing machine and dryer!

Lake Macquarie Escape also invites pets to the property as it is fully securely fenced, perfect for your fur babies to enjoy the scenery. This fully fenced yard is also great for young kids so you can relax on the balcony while the kids play.
Please bare in mind that the height on the front fence is not very high (if you have a dog that loves to jump)

Important message for guests organising events.
We have a strict no party or events policy. It is in a quiet neighbourhood, so any type of events such as hens/bucks/schoolies/end of season sporting groups/birthday parties celebration are not allowed. If you are unsure if your group falls into any of these categories please enquire before booking. We can easily determine if the house rule of “No parties or events” is disrespected, and this means additional charges, bond forfeited and/or eviction will apply.

    Our second visit to this house so we knew to expect a quiet and comfortable stay. We found the bedding too heavy for the warmer time of year. Availability of some other bedding and pillow options would be appreciated. Generous supplies appreciated.

    Nice property, my family enjoyed the stay. It's a very nice area close to the lake and not far from some great dog freindly beaches.the yard was secure and great for our dog.

    The bathrooms, kitchen and floors were very clean, as were the linen and towels. One of the pillows was filthy and covered in yellow stains , which we didn’t notice till we stripped the bed on the day we were vacating the property. One of the beds in the second bedroom had broken slats and collapsed at the end of the bed. The gardens were overgrown with weeds and long grass. The lawns were mowed. The shrubs under the carport were overgrown and made it difficult to get out of the car. The property was in walking distance to the lake and a lovely village with very friendly shop employees. It was in easy distance to the beautiful beaches and Lake Macquarie. The property is very pet friendly with a secure yard. The furniture was very comfy.
